F-14 Tomcat

Just found these cleaning out an old SD card. Only had the avatar size image until I found these.

I think this was probably my first attempt at real build in nearly 30 years!

The swing wings are on 2x2 swivels and I had them linked some way so that the were synchronised. Can't remember exactly which way I did it but it worked fairly ok. I think I did a version of the way the matchbox did their 1:72 airfix kit of the Tomcat.

Playability wasn't especially good but the kids liked it for a while.

Looks great Spudh. Particularly like the wings and back half. I don't recognise the cockpit piece, is the frame's outline printed or is it a sticker?

I'm pretty sure it was a cockpit from an x-wing
