I made this after watching a documentary on polar bears and their disappearing habitat. In short its a small piece of ice surrounded by a relatively large span of water which apparently is increasingly common. Unfortunately the lack of ice sheets lowers the bears hunting chances of success but in this case I've given him a fish to chew on.
