42119 easy build but only looking at every 4 pages

A late birthday present  ,easy to build but I like to challenge the build, technic is fiddley if you miss a pin but I don't  just turn page by page ,with city I try just box art and maybe every 6-7 pages .this wasn't a big set but I'm knocking more fun building this way! My gripe with it is the flag falls off too easy and the spikes spin on the spot and don't go over the roof and the stickers don't even have them to give look of it. Great pull back function though, if you were a kid I mean!

I too yearn for the days when Technic instructions were more like a puzzle than a series of steps :) Interesting idea for bringing more of a challenge to the build!

The box art if it's not too big but the back can reveal a few different views so a majority of it can be made then do the 5-6page skip ,but technic can be harder due to pins and one hole out and it's a teardown
