More of a branch office than David's Central Bank!  This is a MOC I started a while back after buying my first modular, 10260 Downtown Diner.  I really enjoyed the build with a lot of clever bits on the inside and out.  I decided to continue with fifties theme and create a bank with actual money inside :)

Starting at the top, up the ladder to the roof, you can open the skylight to the apartment below.  Rarely seen like this, Harley and Joker love nothing better than watching day time to TV with their penguin friend.

An investigative reporter is at the door but what has she discovered?

Ethics in labs weren't quite the same in the fifties!  Animal testing with the odd human experiment was all the rage.

And finally into the bank itself.  No time lock on this vault.

Now that the pictures are taken I'll hand it over to the kids for the real test :-)

It was nice ,love the story and really dig the sink  ,maybe the bank should have goblin tellers though. The lab is SAWesque and good for Halloween which isn't too far away

Sub machine gun on the lounge table, what can I say, but Tarantino-esq.

Best use of those fancy gold fences I have seen yet. Have saved that one to memory for copying someday, really looks so realistic of old banks or indeed somewhere like the contemporary GPO.

Great details for such a confined floor area Patrick. Bathroom particularly neat with the toilet design slick. Hot and Cold taps though really pushing the added detail boundaries.

Also great to see those fab lab builds get a deserving home. Hope no animal rights groups come across this floors though LOL.

Just so many fine details I like with this moc, the safe door, front entrance curved step some examples.

Finally that signage is a treat. Great use of the Zed!

Great build. How long did it take? Where did you get the letters? Am tempted to get into Mocing seeing this

Thank you. I started it in June doing a few hours here and there. Guessing about 40-50 hours. I’m not one for planning MOCs. Inspiration as I go!  Letters came from a LEGO business card set https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=850425#T=S&O={"iconly":0}

Interesting source for the letters though haven't seen those sets in the shops before. Need a new set of glasses perhaps..

Picked it up in clearance on LEGO.com for €9 four years ago.  If I knew they’d sell at €40-€50 on Bricklink, I would have stocked up 😜

THE BUNNIES!!
THE BABIES!!!

THE HORROR!!

But this is a really great build - especially all the interior details.  Those gold fence parts are perfect for the grandeur of a 1950's bank.

The details in the lab are brilliant too.

My favourite feature though is the rooflight - I love how it slides open!

PS:  I hope that Investigative Journalist blows the lid on this operation and the bunnies are freed!!!

Thanks Lisa, Harley Quinn, being the caring soul that she is, wandered downstairs to take her hammer to the scientists and let all the little bunnies go when she heard about!
